Account & Subscription
Start by distinguishing account status from client configuration. If the panel says your subscription is active, check whether your local configuration is up to date instead of choosing a new plan. Keep your password and subscription link secure.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can recognize and save your login details in a trusted password manager. Don’t store your password in public notes or share it with someone performing tasks on your behalf. After creating your account, make sure you can sign in to the panel before checking plans and client downloads. Since your account isn’t linked to an email address, don’t rely on your inbox as a substitute for securely saving your account details. If you have trouble signing in, check that your username is complete, that no spaces were added by your input method, and that your password’s capitalization is correct. If the issue persists, find support options on the contact page.
How do I get my subscription link and update the server list?
Sign in to the user panel and check your current subscription status in the account overview. Follow the panel instructions to get your subscription link. Import the link through the subscription or configuration section of your client, then use the client’s update function to refresh the server list. When routes change, update your subscription before selecting a new route instead of repeatedly importing the same outdated configuration. Keep your basic internet connection active during the update, and check whether the client reports a download or configuration parsing error; each points to a different troubleshooting step. Your subscription link is an account credential, so hide the full link in any screenshots you share. If the panel lets you reset the link, replace the old link saved on all your devices.
Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices or use several devices at home?
VPNTU supports unlimited devices, so switching devices alone doesn’t mean you need a different plan. On a new device, sign in to the same account, get the client for that platform from the user panel, and import your active subscription. Supported platforms are Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Import steps and system permission screens vary, so follow the client’s instructions. Unlimited devices don’t increase your plan’s data allowance: usage across devices still counts against the account’s available data. When sharing access at home, keep your password and subscription link secure rather than posting them in public group chats or shared pages.
Why does my client still show old routes when the panel says my subscription is active?
The subscription status in the panel and the configuration saved in your client are separate. An active plan doesn’t mean your client has received the latest routes. First, make sure the active configuration is the one linked to VPNTU, then update the subscription and check the result. If your client has other configurations, don’t update one and continue using another by mistake. After a successful update, choose a route again. If needed, disconnect and reconnect to apply the new configuration. If the update still fails, note the error, platform, and circumstances, then contact support through a ticket. Don’t delete all configurations as a troubleshooting step, or you may lose settings that were working.

Connection Issues
Troubleshoot in this order: basic internet connection, client, then target app. Change one thing at a time and note the error and what changed. This makes it easier to identify the cause than changing several settings at once.
The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?
Pause the client connection and check whether your basic internet connection can reach websites that normally work. This helps distinguish a local network issue from a proxy route issue. If your basic connection is working, reconnect the client and check that the subscription is up to date, the selected route is in the current configuration, and system proxy settings or the client’s required traffic-routing mode are enabled. Then try the target service in a browser and see whether all websites fail or just one. Don’t run multiple clients that manage network traffic at the same time, as their proxy settings may conflict. If the problem continues after changing routes, save the error message and note your network environment. A connected status alone doesn’t prove that your request used the right route.
Why does my browser work through the proxy but a particular app doesn’t?
Apps handle system proxy settings differently, so a working browser doesn’t mean every app uses the same route. Check the client’s current proxy mode and whether its rules send the target app or domain directly. If the app doesn’t use the system proxy, check the client’s instructions to see whether you need to enable tunnel mode and grant the required network permissions. After making changes, fully close and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using its old connection. Also distinguish network failures from account, region, or permission messages from the service itself; changing proxy settings may not resolve those. When contacting support, include the app name and the full error message rather than just saying it doesn’t work.
What should I do if importing a subscription says the link is invalid or can’t be parsed?
Copy the subscription link again from the user panel and make sure it’s complete—not a page address, shared text, or truncated link. Paste it into the client’s subscription import section, not the manual editor for an individual route. If the client reports a download failure, check your basic internet connection and whether the link is still valid. If it reports a parsing failure, check that the client’s configuration format matches the import method provided in the panel. Use the panel’s download section for platform-specific instructions and avoid mixing in other configuration files. If you still can’t import the link, submit a support ticket with the error and a screenshot of the client. Hide your subscription link and password in the screenshot.
How do I reconnect after switching Wi-Fi or waking my device from sleep?
After a network change or waking from sleep, an existing connection may still be using the previous network path. Make sure you’ve completed any required sign-in or authorization on the new network, then disconnect the client and reconnect using your current route. If you haven’t updated your subscription recently, refresh the configuration before reconnecting so you don’t confuse a network-switch issue with an outdated configuration. On mobile devices, check that the system isn’t restricting background activity and that the client still has the required network permissions. If the issue only occurs on one Wi-Fi network, note that difference for troubleshooting. If a public network requires an authorization page, pause the proxy, complete the network authorization, and then reconnect.
Before sharing a troubleshooting screenshot, check whether the address bar, configuration page, or logs contain a subscription link or account credentials. Keep the error message and relevant screen details, but hide sensitive information before sending.
Speed & Routes
VPNTU covers 110+ countries / 180+ routes. Coverage helps you choose an exit; it doesn’t mean every exit will perform equally with every service. Choose routes based on the app, access region, and time of use rather than the route name alone.
During peak hours, should I switch regions or route types?
First check whether your local network is also slow. Pause large downloads and see if other devices are using the connection. If your basic connection is fine, keep the region required by the target service and try different route types in that same region. Compare whether loading still stalls during continued use. If a particular exit remains unsuitable at that time, consider switching regions. IEPL, relay, and direct routes take different paths, but a route name doesn’t guarantee stability; your local network and the target service also affect performance. For AI tools or video calls, avoid frequent switching. Find a suitable exit and stick with it; notes about the time and symptoms are more useful than a single test.
When should I use IEPL, relay, or direct routes?
IEPL, relay, and direct describe how routes are set up, not how available a target service will be. Choose a route based first on the exit region you need, then on how it performs on your network and at that time. Japan IEPL, Hong Kong IEPL, US IEPL, Singapore relay, UK direct, and Canada direct routes shown on the site are examples to help you choose; check the panel and your subscription for current options. Video calls depend more on a consistent connection, streaming on sustained throughput, and AI tools on the access region and account environment. Don’t choose by route name alone or assume one type will be faster on every network.
Why does an AI tool still show a region warning after I switch routes?
AI services may determine your region using your exit IP, account details, login session, and their own usage policies. Changing routes may not change all of these factors. First confirm that your request is using the selected exit, then check which regions the service currently supports. If your browser still has an earlier session, follow the service’s instructions to sign in again or review site data, but don’t assume clearing a session will make the service available. In everyday use, stick to a suitable region and connection rather than switching exits repeatedly to try to gain access. If you see an account permission or risk-control error, follow the service’s requirements. A working route and an account approved to use the service are separate issues.
Can streaming quality drop even when the route is connected?
Yes. A player may adjust picture quality based on sustained throughput, and a connected status only confirms the connection—not that the route can maintain the current quality. Check the player’s quality settings, your device’s capabilities, and whether the content is available at the resolution you want. Pause other downloads and see if buffering continues. Then try an exit that matches the region of the content library and check the result after reopening the player. Streaming services may also determine content availability based on exit region, account plan, and service policies, so route coverage doesn’t mean every library will be accessible. When troubleshooting, note the specific content, player message, and network environment; “poor quality” alone is harder to diagnose.

Billing & Refunds
Monthly plans and data packages handle data differently. Before making a change, check your current plan and orders; the panel shows the result of any upgrade. Keep payment and refund records in your support ticket.
What monthly plans are available, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day you activate your plan. Check your current plan, remaining data, and reset date in the user panel; resets don’t happen automatically at the start of each calendar month. Consider your video calls, AI tools, and streaming habits when choosing a plan. There’s no device limit, but using more devices doesn’t increase your plan’s data allowance. If the panel doesn’t match your expectations, confirm you’re signed in to the right account, then check your plan and order details. Compare monthly plans and data packages on the plans page if you want to adjust how you manage data.
Do data packages expire, and how do I choose between one and a monthly plan?
Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly plans reset data on the activation date each month, while data packages let you use the available allowance as needed. Choose based on how often you use the service. If you use it regularly and your monthly needs are fairly consistent, compare the monthly plans. If your usage is more occasional, consider a data package. “Never expires” describes the package’s validity, not whether its data can be used up. If you already have another plan, check the panel’s details about your current subscription and available options before choosing another. Don’t assume plans stack or estimate fees based on combination rules that haven’t been provided.
How does a mid-cycle upgrade work, and what payment methods are supported?
For a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the exact result on the plan and order pages in the user panel. Don’t use the price difference between full months to estimate your new access period, and don’t submit the same request repeatedly before checking your current order status. VPNTU supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Follow the order and payment instructions generated in the panel. If your plan status doesn’t update after payment, check the order page and confirm that your payment record matches the order. If you need help, provide the order details and payment result, hiding unrelated account information. Never share your password or subscription link as proof of payment.
How do I request a 60-day no-questions-asked refund, and what should I prepare?
VPNTU offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel, open a support ticket with your request, and include order details and payment records that can be matched to your account. Read the Terms of Service for eligibility and full terms. If you’re also having connection issues, include the platform, circumstances, and error message so support can distinguish technical troubleshooting from refund processing. Don’t share your password or full subscription link. Check the panel for replies after submitting your ticket and provide any requested information. Avoid opening multiple tickets for the same order. No processing time or additional offer is promised on this page; check your ticket and payment channel for the latest status.
